The best subs I've ever had

This has become my favorite place for sandwiches. I absolutely love it! It's all freshly cut right in front of you.

A small "hole in the wall" place. It's no frills, but the food is fresh, and tasty. Portions are decent and the prices reasonable. There is no grill, but they do offer limited hot subs. They will also offer to toast your sub. They serve Pepsi products, and no alcohol.

I eat at the newer Heath Springs location all the time. It's very clean and everything always tastes fresh! The employees are really sweet. Highly recommend the chicken salad!

Do not recommend going in the evening. If you want fresh soup or fresh sandwich ingredients go during lunch! Wasnt pleased with dinner tonight.

They bake their bread every morning. Their meat, cheese, and vegetables are always fresh. Plus they give you enough food to satisfy at a reasonable price. This is the best sandwich shop on the East coast.

The no-frills eating area is clean, the menu is minimal (but in a good way), the deli meats are fresh sliced, the bread is good, the prices are cheap. This is a place that does one thing and does it well... good subs. They have pastrami, so bonus points for that.

Great food and great service

This is hands down the best sub shop I've ever eaten at. Their homemade soups are always amazing, their bread is fresh baked every couple hours, their deli meat is sliced fresh. Their specialty meat, like steak or pork, is prepared fresh daily, depending on the special. Definitely a must try.

A go-to spot. I just wish they would renovate, update, and/or refresh inside. Along with put mats down or hang things on the wall to take the echo out of the dining room. Always good food, great service at an even better price.

The turkey and ham were not that great, very processed and low quality.

First time eating here... the chicken club tomato basil wrap I got was pretty good! Must be a pretty popular place. Because they ran out of tomatoes, and steak.

Visited Subbies’s on a whim. Turns out the sandwiches are delicious and fairly priced. Please visit this local spot and keep it alive!

Clean establishment, very pleasant staff, fresh meats and cheeses cut in front of you when ordering.

Subs are better than average. Meats are sliced fresh and the breads are freshly baked. However, I didn't like the texture of the wheat bread. There are a lot of fresh toppings like spinach, cucumber, olives, bell pepper, marinated banana peppers, and the other regular toppings ( tomatoes, pickles, onions, lettuce, oil and vinegar, etc) to choose from with a side choice of soup, chili, or chips. (Miss Vicki's chips is an option). The service is quick and the customer service is good. I had a 4" steak and bacon sub with chips and a drink (really sweet tea) for $7.91. Overall, I like the sub and the service, just a little pricey in comparison to other sub places that appease my tastebuds more (Jersey Mikes, Hwy 55, and ???Steak ???).

Always a pleasant, efficient experience. You cannot beat the service or prices. HIGHLY recommended if you want a good sub.

The Italian sub is the best!! Freshly sliced meats and cheese are piled high. The large gives you enough to save some for later! We live out of town, but always make a point of stopping here.

Very good local sub shop in Lancaster, SC. They have a good choice of meats and also offer special meats from time to time. Also will have soups and stews such as chili beans. They make their bread fresh in house and it's really good. I love the cheddar bacon cheese. Give that a try you can thank me later!

EDIT**** Subbies is a GREAT place to get delicious subs and salads but they have one girl there, **Katelyn** (I was told her name was) who makes a lot of people not even want to go. I am not one to write reviews but I certainly hope that the owners take note that this girl seems to have attitude every single time. I just don't get it. If you don't like where you work, please at least ACT like you do.

Great food but staff isnt very friendly

We were passing through Lancaster today. We had one of the best subs we have ever had at Subbies. Everything was fresh. We got the Veggie sub. Real cute place with friendly and helpful staff. We will be back very soon.
